Louisiana In the Civil War

The Rapides Parish Library in Alexandria will host a six-week series of readings and discussions about the Civil War as it was experienced within Louisiana. The program is free and open to the public and will be held on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 PM., beginning on April 1st and concluding on May 6th for a total of six sessions. The program will be held at the Huie-Dellmon House, 430 St. James Street. Those interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance at the library. The phone number is 445-2411, ext. 241.
