The
administrative offices of the Rapides Parish Library System are housed in
the Huie-Dellmon House located one block behind the Main Library. The
100-year old home was donated to the Library in 1993 by the Huie-Dellmon
Trust and was converted into offices and a meeting room used by staff and
the public. The staff works in offices decorated with antiques and
memorabilia that belonged to the Henarie Huie and Joe Dellmon families.
Tours of the house and grounds are provided by the administrative staff.
