✨It’s National Volunteer Week and we wanted to highlight some of our volunteers at our branches. Today’s spotlight volunteers are from our Westside Regional Library.

In order we have:
Ms. Rebekah Enger
Rebekah has volunteered at Westside Library for almost 2 years now and ...has enjoyed every minute of it! She states that one reason she enjoys volunteering for RPL is because she loves libraries so much! One of her favorite programs to attend is Books & Beyond! our teen book club.

Mrs. Linda Duplan
Ms. Linda has volunteered with Westside Library for a few years now and enjoys having somewhere to go now that she is retired.

Mrs. Louise Simon
Ms. Louise has volunteered at Westside Library for a few years now. She loves the library and choose RPL because of the friendly staff and how close it is to her house. She enjoys every aspect of volunteering at the library by helping where she can.

Lisa Dufour
Ms. Lisa has volunteered with RPL for two years now. Lisa started volunteering with RPL because she wanted to give back to the community. She loves the friendly staff and has enjoyed every moment she has volunteered.

Ms. Mya Soudan
Mya has volunteered with RPL for almost 10 months now. She stated that the reason why she chose to volunteer at Westside Library was because it was the library she grew up going to and when she found out she could volunteer she couldn’t help but volunteer. She loves how Westside is small and cozy and full of books. She enjoys having sweet conversations with staff and visitors. Mya also stated that it means a lot to her to be a valuable member of the community by volunteering at Westside Library.

Ms. Toni Love
Ms. Toni has volunteered with Westside Library for awhile now by taking over their Toddler Time. Ms. Toni comes to RPL with a lot of experience in education and library work. Ms. Toni states that she knows how important it is to help young children develop their fine motor skills and to foster a love for reading. She enjoys seeing new mothers bring their babies to the library and seeing how they grow.

We thank all of our Westside Regional Library volunteers for all of their hard work in keeping it run smoothly.
