We had a great time at the Rapides Parish Library, McDonald Branch this past Saturday. The community celebrated Branch Manager Gail Goldberg's inaugural namesake award from the Louisiana Library Association's Support Staff section (LaSSAL). However, Mrs. Gail was in for another ...surprise! She received a special Citizenship Award from the Town of Glenmora, Louisiana in recognition of her years of service and contributions to the town. Many thanks to all those who joined us in celebrating her, especially our friends from LLA, LaSSAL, Glenmora, Friends of the Rapides Library, Friends of the McDonald Library, and the State Library of Louisiana.
