Rapides Parish Library offers a number of computer classes for our patrons

Apr 19, 2014 - Boyce Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt

We will have 4 separate egg hunts

  • children 5 & under 10:00 am
  • children 6-9 at 11:00 am
  • children 10-12 at 12:00
  • teens at 1:00
as well as fun and games between the egg hunts.

Beginning Microsoft Word

This basic word processing class is a good starting point. We will provide an overview of the Word environment and look at basics such as margins, changing typefaces and type size; how to cut, copy, and paste text; how to use the spell check and grammar check; and how to save documents. Then we will look at ways to insert pictures and tables to enhance documents of any type.
