Rapides Parish Library will host a Social Security Disability Workshop on Monday, September 27, at 2:00 PM at the Huie-Dellmon House, 430 Saint James Street, in downtown Alexandria.

Dedication of Art by Morris Taft Thomas
On October 19th, 2009, there was a reception celebrating the dedication of the painting "Horseshoe Lesson", by internationally renowned artist Morris Taft Thomas, to the Main Library. You can watch the video of Mr. Thomas' remarks and a Question and Answer session with the audience.
Craft Time for Adults at Westside
Not all our programs are for teens and children! Westside Regional Library is offering craft time programs for adults. Join us October 7, 2010 at the Westside Regional Library to learn tile painting basics with Susan Baker. Paint and tiles will be provided, just bring your imagination.
The Rapides Parish Library offers computer classes covering topics from basics of computer use, to intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
