2008 Bookmark Contest Winners

Each year, to promote library use and reading among children, and to promote cooperation between schools and the public library, the Rapides Parish Library cooperates with schools to conduct a bookmark contest. Each school conducts their own contest and the library holds a parish wide competition. Students compete according to their grade level. Students in kindergarten through second grade form the lower elementary division, students in third through fifth grade are considered upper elementary, and students in sixth through eighth grade compete in the middle school division.
