The Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch is located at 1115 Broadway Avenue in Alexandria and is a full-service branch, comparable in size and hours of operation as Libuse, Martin, Robertson and Westside Regional libraries.  The King branch has an open and inviting atmosphere featuring a public meeting space, computer learning stations, interactive areas for children, a study zone for teens, a knowledgeable staff, and a large variety of books, periodicals, and research materials.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meeting Room<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

King Branch also has a meeting room in which non-profit, civic, and educational organizations may convene. Groups requesting the use of the meeting room must provide one member to deal with the library, and they should fill out an official Meeting Room Reservation form here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us on the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm to discover, read, and discuss books by African American authors and others of the African Diaspora.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
