✨It's National Volunteer week! Today's spotlight branch is the Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch would like to recognize their wonderful volunteer, Ms. Cherry Collins.

Ms. Cherry has been volunteering with RPL for 14 years now and enjoys... spending time at the library. Ms. Cherry chose to volunteer with us because likes to help people utilize the library and everything it offers. She enjoys checking out books, movies, and audiobooks and knows that if she cannot find anything the workers are always happy to help. Some of her fondest memories of RPL are the grand opening of Martin Luther King Jr. Branch and the grand opening of the Central Louisiana African American Culture and Heritage Center. Ms. Cherry loves volunteering with RPL because it gives her the opportunity to help her community.

We are very grateful for the years of service Ms. Cherry has dedicated in volunteering with us. She is instrumental in helping the King Branch run smoothly and we hope to have her with us for years to come!

Thank you for everything you do Ms. Cherry, we appreciate everything you do for us!
