Laptop Lending

Section 1: Laptop Hardware and Software

Hardware:

• SD Card Reader
• CD/DVD Player
• Camera
• Microphone
• USB Port

Software:

• Windows 10 Operating System
• Microsoft Office 2016
• Adobe Reader
• Google Chrome

Section 2: Check out requirements

• Borrowers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid photo ID that is current
• Individual must be a registered RPL patron for a minimum of 90 days
• Borrowers must not have any overdue items on their record or owe any fines

Section 3: Check out period and rules

• Laptops may be checked out for seven days
• Laptop check outs cannot be renewed
• Laptop availability is first come, first served
• After returning the laptop, individual must wait seven days before checking another one out.

Section 4: Fines

• Late Fine: $10.00 per day with no grace period or fine forgiveness
• Damage Fine: $25.00 per occurrence
• Missing laptop bag: $45.00
• Missing AC Adapter/Power Cord: $75.00

Hotspot Lending

Section 1: Check out requirements

• Hotspots may be checked out for seven days
• Hotspot check outs cannot be renewed
• Hotspot availability is first come, first served
• After returning the hotspot, individuals must wait seven days before checking another one out.

Section 3: Fines

• Late Fine: $10.00 per day with no grace period or fine forgiveness
• Damage Fine: $25.00 per occurrence
• Missing Case: $20.00
• Missing AC Adapter/Power Cord: $25.00
