Gunter
The Gunter Branch of the Rapides Parish Library System opened its doors in 1983, and since 1992 has circulated its collection on a computerized system.
Today the library's monthly circulation exceeds 10,000. The Gunter Branch serves customers in Pineville, Deville, Libuse, and Kolin. They also service several schools including Buckeye High School, Hayden R. Lawrence Middle School, Buckeye Elementary, J. I. Barron, Sr. Elementary, and Ruby-Wise Elementary.
